Raw Data & Table Data sections are not hidden if you join tables #34734

Describe the bug

Currently

If you simply view a table you don't get the raw tab for a table which makes sense:

When you join a table then this option becomes visible agian:

To Reproduce

  1. Go to New Question -> Orders -> Visualize as Table

  1. Go to New -> Question -> Orders Join with People -> Visualize as Table
image

Expected behavior

Make it consistent. We should remove the raw data option for tables since it's a confusing redundancy that isn't helpful

This is very confusing for many people. Btw, it has nothing to do with the joins. Those icons shows the moment you save a question.

  1. Open raw table - you don't see icons
  2. Save it - the icons appear
