Support Jalali calendar #6292

Is it possible to add new calendar in Metabase? How? (for example Jalali/Persian/Iranian calendar)

Hi @alichq, it's not currently possible, but something we may add support for in the future. A PR would be welcome but I have a feeling this would be a rather large task

Any plan for this feature? This is a really useful and somewhat necessary feature to have.

Yeah, this feature would change a bunch of code lines into few clicks.

Any updates on this? It is becoming really frustrating to use Gregorian calendar as the projects scope broadens.
