Some single posts open a blank view

Describe the bug Sometimes, viewing a single toot causes a blank view. (See screenshot)

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. open a toot, in my case notifications typically open a blank view while timeline posts occasionally do so.

Expected behavior posts are shown. this seems to be a regression as i wouldn't have reported this days ago.
