In the instance where I am it is possible to indicate if the toot is written with markdown or HTML so the server can render it correctly. This is a screenshot of the web version:

In the app this button does not appear, would it be possible to add it for accounts that are in an instance that allow those formats?

Also the markdown/html rendering needs to be improved, I leave here a screenshot of the app and another one from chrome on iOS.
