iOS accessibility: can you please consider badges for notifications? #215

Problem: When using VoiceOver screen reader, I'm not able to hear / understand how many new notifications have been posted.

Proposal: It would be nice if the Notifications tab provided more information as to the number of new notifications on my timeline. Also, it does not seem like VoiceOver is reading any badges on the Metatext home screen icon.

In iOS notifications settings for the Metatext app, there is an option to turn on badges. But even when this option is set to "on" no badges appear.
