Authors (by email) is not invariant to case (overestimation of number of maintainers) #95

AFAIU, authors are groups by their email addresses, but it's not invariant to case, e.g.

  1. https://r-pkg.org/maint/Stefan.Theussl@R-Project.org
  2. https://r-pkg.org/maint/Stefan.Theussl@R-project.org

are considered to different authors.

This probably also causes the number of maintainers (https://r-pkg.org/) to be overestimates.

Duplicate one of the comments in #36
