Workspace does not refresh properly after adding or removing resources #273

To replicate:

metadatacenter/cedar-project#270 is possibly one manifestation of this issue.

Can't reproduce on staging today. @rsgoncalves Can you recheck?

See here. I don't get the folder errors on my local copy, but the remaining behavior is the same.

It seems also that the actions from the right-click context menus have a different outcome than pressing 'more options' and then doing the same action.

I cannot duplicate with latest develop.

Does the latest develop have a lot of shared items on it? Because if not, you won't be able to duplicate the error. But it will probably still be there.
