+1 I do have a reasonable fork of the Nestable plugin in use right now, to which I added drop rejection and stuff - but I fear the code isn't very clean. Perhaps a cleanup and better API could be a base to start? https://github.com/bubach/Nestable

@desandro any info available on whether this feature will be implemented? I'm desperately in need of such functionality for a current project. Draggabilly is really great, but for now it seems I have to look for an alternative solution because I need to drop draggies on multiple droppies. I so don't want to use jQuery UI for this...
@srosenbrand would Dragula be an option? It's very good.
@danbramall thanks! I can't get info on Dragula being able to have multiple drop containers...
To explain what I need, have a look at this: http://active-element.nl/clients/dragdrop/dashboard.html Cards need to be dragged in multiple categories on the right (now only possible in the first category).
Currently I use Draggabilly in combination with https://github.com/chienhungchen/droppabilly but the later doesn't support multiple drop containers. Drop containers need to be defined by classname too (instead of id). Any thoughts?
@srosenbrand This totally isn't the right place to post this, so apologies to everyone on this thread, but in the interests of being a helpful citizen :) I knocked this up for you http://codepen.io/anon/pen/NNyKGP. Any questions/issues definitely best take it to StackOverflow or the Dragula GitHub page.
Bringing this back on thread I definitely would love @desandro to work on Droppabilly as his plug-ins are just a joy to work with. :)
@danbramall Thank you so much! This is exactly what I need! My apologies to everyone else here to for disrupting this thread.

Droppabilly would be a touch-device-friendly drag and drop library. There's no good solution out there. Draggabilly is a nice touch-friendly draggable library, but you can't drop stuff. jQuery UI has its Droppable widget, but touch-support requires add-ons.
