inSSIDer remembers the configuration and automatically starts scanning without having to press start each time.

In since 2.0.4 or 2.0.5 I believe.

Not sure. Seem there is a bug somewhere since I have to push "start" again after every change of filters or AP selections...

Which operating system do you use? You shouldn't have to press start more than once. Hmm.

WinXP SP3 on EEEPC.

Hmm, auto-start is less supported on XP than Vista or 7. The original plan was to not auto-start at all on XP, but I added it anyway :)

I'll have to look into what could be causing the scan to stop on XP.
