i placed a topic in the forums, but i thought this may be a better place to ask because i think its an error in the application, maybe not but who knows,
hi guys. im new here and learning.
sadly i cant install inSSider.
The Installation wizard halts at the "select installation folder"
as soon as i press any button on that form windows give error;
"windows installer encountered a problem and needs to close"
debug open Visual studio.NET 2003 then chooses "native" and in the microsoft development environment
gives me this error
Unhandled exception at 0x5bc46935 in msiexec.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation writing location 0x013fde20.
i dont think sending the error file to Microsoft is gonna fix the problem.
i tried the older version 1393, same problem.
i have saved the error report and 1 included file on my pc in text format. 500kb and 18kb
can i send you the files as i think microsoft would not repair this problem and it probably contains sensitive system information so uploading it open public is not an option.

if i encounter errors on my pc i want to learn and solve them, not just try a different option.

i think its a fault in the program so i hope i supplied enough information. i dont htink its my pc fault,
i have the lates updat nothing weird on my pc.
but for the heck here my sytem
fujitsu siemens amilo pa1510 amd turion64 x2 tl50 1,6 ghz 896mb windows xp home edition 32 bit sp3
i also heard there are different assembly versions so the adress 0x5bc46935 may not be valid? or dependant on the proccesor chip? dont know, i am dumb just interested i want to know everything.
any help appreciated please reply
