I do not really understand the original motivation of https://github.com/gardener/gardener/pull/6204, but maybe it makes sense to streamline the audit log path with the Gardener (could be relevant if we would enable the logging feature gate?). We are currently overriding this path and write logs to /auditlog/audit.log.
