Historical PDF layout: 1972 to 1978 layout

During this period ISO used a "prettier" layout that has a wide header.

This layout was in use from 1972 to 1979. In 1979, the new 1979 layout started being used from 1979-04-15, and both 1972 and 1979 layouts were used together from 1979-04-01 to 1979-06-15.

These are PDF samples from iTeh that provide a good demonstration of the layout.

History of layout transition

Phase out of old layout:

• 1979-04-01: ISO 1001, ISO 5698, ISO 56/I in old layout
• 1979-04-15: ISO 4967, ISO 4001/I, ISO 4002/I, ISO 3004/II, 4570/II, ISO 748 (corrected 04-15), 4967, 4109, 4330, in old layout
• 1979-05-01: ISO 5264/III still in old layout
• 1979-05-15: ISO 1073/I (corrected in 1979-05-15) still in old layout
• 1979-06-01: nothing in old layout
• 1979-06-15: ISO 1073/II (corrected in 1979-06-15) still in old layout
• 1979-07-01: nothing in old layout
• 1979-07-15: nothing in old layout

Transition into new layout:

• 1979-04-01: nothing in new layout
• 1979-04-15: ISO 4335, ISO 5678, 5679, 4375, 4360, 668, 4087, 1813, 2635, 113/I, 4166, 4168, 4360, 668, 113/I, 2635, 1813 in new layout
• 1979-05-01: all except one in old layout
• 1979-05-15: all except one in old layout
• 1979-06-01: all in new layout

(The closest free font I found was Boricua Regular.)

Proper font Univers:

The bottom tiny text in English/French doesn't change, it is Univers Pro 55 Roman. At one point the Russian/Cyrillic font changes from serif to sans-serif, but we don't care right now.
