Does the license of this gem allow use in third party applications? #19

I am interested in using this gem in some software I am developing, and would like to contribute an enhancement. I am not sure what license applies to its use, other than the copyright. Can you let me know what license applies to this software?

This software is published under the BSD 2-clause license, which I've now pushed via #20.
