@ioannagian Is there a particular reason why we should duplicate the metadata schema information on every META-SHARE node? Couldn’t we just link to http://www.meta-net.eu/meta-share/metadata-schema from the about menu (and perhaps additionally or alternatively from the info page)? Otherwise, if the information should need to be updated in the future, then we’d have to make sure to update it everywhere instead of only in one place (cf. DRY principle).

@cspurk As there has been a reasonable effort to group all kinds of technical information on the META-SHARE nodes (i.e. the info page), the metadata schema information would otherwise be missing. The metadata schema information is closely linked to the META-SHARE nodes, as it is useful for the providers. For technical reasons (what if the meta-net site is down or the information is one day removed from meta-net?), as well as to keep the info page autonomous, I think it is preferable to include it directly on META-SHARE.
