Thanks for your interest, but ....
Sue for Vue.js
Hmmm, are you serious? π
Vssue means "Vue + Issue", but not "Vue + Sue".....
BTW, I think logo of Vssue should express the idea of "comments". Only using a shape of "S" is not good enough.
Hi thanks for your feedback
I understood what vssue means, it's just that I prefer a more "personal" naming to things, and the letter S is quite evident in pronounciation.
Funny enough I had "comments" in my first drafts and took this approach, so I'll give those another spin.
Here are the first drafts of the earlier versions.
It's hard to see but there are actually people building the comments and issues in the lower one, with a "history" of issues that was fixed together, suggesting collaboration and open source development.
Again, feel free to comment and suggest.
I think the logo of vue-i18n could be used as a reference.
What do you think about this style?
(I even thought about replacing the globe with "Vssue" for Vssue LOGO π )
I assume you're just talking about the bubbles, which is not a problem.
Or do you mean that you wanted exactly the logo to look like the bubble you show above?
(I even thought about replacing the globe with "Vssue" for Vssue LOGO π )
Then can I ask you why you wanted someone to make a logo in the first place if you already know what you want? I like the simplicity, but it looks like something a generator could have made. I'm human, not a captcha-artist π
Maybe it's good to tell you the design principles and inspiration for the logo I made for vssue;
I like the fact that even though you and I don't see each other, or meet before we work together, we can work together with a medium in between. Therefore the two worlds are seperated yet connected to the same thing; issues we both have using that same thing.
So about the styling; I can make that any color you want in seconds. I would rather allign on the core principles you want to communicate to the people who contribute and use vssue.
A less artsy solution that could work for your approach; you take the vue-i18n logo, replace the globe with a gibhub-styled comment icon in the middle, and you add a few comment bubbles around it in the back, and call it a day.
Yeah the point is the simplicity. Your design is great, but it looks a little bit complicated at first glance.
It might for the keywords "people" and "equality" that you use a lot of blocks to build the "S". What about reducing the quantity of the blocks? (I'm not sure if it would be better)
I have some ideas but I didn't have good idea to combine them together in a simple logo:
I just listed them here to show my thought, but they are not necessary.
(I even thought about replacing the globe with "Vssue" for Vssue LOGO π )
Just "thought about", don't take it seriously LOL π
I would disagree with you here, because I'm not taking it too seriously; I made these in less then an hour. I just like giving a face to a name, and would like to pull it off. I'm independant enough to call it a day, and I'm having an off day.
Thanks for your interest, but .... Sue for Vue.js....Hmmm, are you serious? π
Let's settle on this; be as serious as we take ourselves ππ
πlunchtime!
personally I like the second one, it fits the bill, but I would use the V-shape to spell the name "vssue" underneath the bubble. What do you think?
Interesting talk, I love that
@alolalo
Sorry for delay, I was so busy last week.
I love your idea about combining V-shape with bubble, and I think we can use the idea of your S design, too.
I combine the Vue-logo with bubble, and build "Vssue" with small blocks as your S design:
(It's ugly though, just a draft :joy:)
What do you think about that?
I've created the first draft of Vssue LOGO
Great thanks for your help @alolalo

directory. We can keep discussing if you have any ideas to enhance it!
Hi peoples!
My name is Guus, and I created a fancy logo for vssue! π
I like to keep things simple; the logo is created out of one shape, five colors, and fully vector for any post-processing in code.
Feel free to comment! It's a work in progress ππ»
