Cannot Access Certain Databases #350

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a MS SQL Database with a . in it. I.E.   database3.4
2. attempt to connect
3. error cannot connect

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
