A logo for OpenRTS !

OpenRTS need a logo to enhance its visual identity. We should look at the main game engine for inspiration :

• Source Engine,
• Cry Engine,
• Unity 3d
• Unreal Engine

And more specialized ones :

• Starcraft 2
• DOTA 2
• Heroes of the storm
• Dawn of War
• Homeworld
• Halo Wars

etc.

• [ ] Concept validation (maybe on forum?)
• [ ] Crafting
• [ ] Adaptation to many usages (signatures, banners, dark and light grounds...)

Maybe the logo should be in 3D to tell the engine is 3D itself?

Maybe the cross-platform aspect is important too ? "Join the melee, whatever your gear."

I'm on it. I Wish I had Adobe After Effects to make a little clip of it zooming side to side to emphasize the 3D-ness of the text/Logo. A few of my friends have it, hopefully I can use theirs for a few hours, that'd be awesome.

+1 for "RTS". but is it possible to "integrate" the "OPEN" better?

I like the concept. What about aligning the OPEN letters as an open book?
