Surface downwelling shortwave data values #14

Hi! I extracted data from the operational dataset (https://thredds.met.no/thredds/catalog/metpparchive/2022/catalog.html) for the period 01/01/2021-01/07/2022. For the last few months (since about mid-March) the integral_of_surface_downwelling_shortwave_flux_in_air_wrt_time file has unexpected values.

The radiation parameters have been corrected starting from the runs at 20220831T08Z

Note that the correction is only implemented from this date. There is still an error in the data from March to August . This will be fixed when we are doing the next update of the archive scheduled later this autumn

Thank you! I would be interested in the period March-August. Could you please tell me if I can correct the data with a multiplication factor?

Hi! Is there any update on this? It seams like the files from March-August has not been updated yet.

Hey all!

Sorry for the delay in fixing this. We have just completed a rerun of our archive from 2012 - present. All 100,000 files are produced, we're just doing the final quality assurance on the files and then we will publish the archive (hopefully by the end of January). Stay tuned!
