the select all for security doesn't work with filter #24

say I type in auth in the filter and then select all. After I delete the filter it appears that all the controllers are selected

Ok, I think I know why, I'll be able to fix that up quick

I don't think this is easy as it seems. For instance, what do we do if we filter something, check all, then unfilter everything, then filter it again? Should the check box for all become unchecked then checked? We have to layout a few different situations and decide what conventions we are sticking with.
