Love the instructions, which work, and I also get some gibbering. Being a newbie, I don't know whether this is a hardware or software issue. Would welcome thoughts/assistance.

Edit -- Never mind. It was the power cord.

I get static on my screen (not quite that bad) when I run from a USB connected to my PC. It goes away when I run via a dedicated power supply. Have you tried a more powerful USB supply?
