Legal disclaimers - Doorway

For Doorway, we need to introduce some new legal language / disclaimers to both Partners and Public.

Note: Translations for these were added to the document doorway is sharing with their translations vendor.

AC:

Upon creation of an account:

• Partners will be required to scroll through and accept terms of use
• Applicants will see the terms of use, but not be required to scroll through. They will still need to accept to proceed.

Upon submittal of an Application by an Applicant:

• Additional language relating to their age needs to be added + agreed to before application can be submitted.

Upon downloading any applications, or Excel or CMS files with PII, by a Professional Partner or Local Government:

• They will need to accept terms of use (listed in doc & designs) before proceeding.

We have a few questions on this open with Barry. I don't think these should stop us from getting started but let's discuss! See the following:

Account creation:

• We assumed we would use the Doorway terms of use on the MTC site for this. Is that correct?
• Are applicants and partners subject to the same terms of use upon account creation?
• Do partners need to scroll through the entirety of the terms of use upon account creation, or is there a particular section we should include in the modal? We noticed that this is quite a bit of text - alternatively, could we link to the terms of use in this modal?

Application Submission for housing seekers:

• When a housing seeker submits an application, should they see the same terms of use they see at account creation?

• do we need to add a disclosure to users export?

Question for Eng:

• link to bottom - feasible? EJ: Yes, feasible
• aria labels on disabled button (SR should know it's disabled, and then should indicate when it's enabled)
• Disabled state contrast - does not need to meet contrast guidelines, but should be ok if we have the right aria label

• Lottery run date and time still TBD, can disregard for this ticket
