What does row 2268 look like?
Email Row number in Excel sheet
Does row 2268 has an email address with nonstandard ASCII characters?
the issue is in the file itself. There might be some spelling mistakes or email address with nonstandard ASCII characters, please check the relevant lines.
It's the not the issue with sendportal.
I've been having this issue repeatedly over the last couple of days. I couldn't see anything wrong with the address, so I deleted it from the import and added it by hand. Due to other reasons, I had to reimport and it did the same with a different email address from the same list.
I've not used sendportal for a couple of months and it's as if it's had an update that's broken loads of things, although I know nothing has been updated.

Without being able to know what the problem email is, theres not much we can do to help. I cannot personally recreate this issue so I cant submit a bugfix PR.
I can't post the emails here obviously for data protection, but there's nothing wrong with them in any other piece of software and copying and pasting them in works fine, it's just CSV import that it doesn't like.
Edit: Figured it out, there's a space after the email address before the column ending.
When I import large files like [50k Subcribers] Having an issue with 504 Gateway Time-out.
