contrib lib not being compiled #139

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. download guichan
2. ./configure
3. make

What is the expected behaviour? What happens instead?

I expected that a lib for the contrib folder wouldbe built, just like the sdl
folder has. Instead, when issue the make commando to contrib/sdl it says that
there ios nothing to be done for 'all'

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Which
back-end (SDL/Allegro/OpenGL/other)?

I'm using guichan 0.8.2 on ubuntu 11.04 for SDL

Please provide any additional information below.

I'm trying to use the SDLTrueTypeFont, but it seems that it's lib is not being
compiled by the make process,
here is a dump of the configure:

IMPORTANT! You are about install a BETA version of Guichan
which most likely will lose binary compatibility with the
future stable release. This release should only be used
for testing.

-------------------------------
Guichan ready for compilation!
-------------------------------
* Allegro   = disabled
* HGE = no (Windows specific and cannot be built)
* OpenGL    = yes
* OpenLayer = no (Requires static build and cannot be built)
* SDL       = yes
* SDL Image = yes
--------------------------------

After going through the make ouput a little a found out that the contrib lib is
not being compiled, I don't know why.
This is the part I think it says it didn't do anything:

Making all in sdl
make[5]: Entering directory
`/home/walther/guichan-0.8.2/include/guichan/contrib/sdl'
make[5]: Nothing to be done for `all'.
make[5]: Leaving directory
`/home/walther/guichan-0.8.2/include/guichan/contrib/sdl'

Thank you

The contrib is not a library as it may depend on various libraries. Just copy
the SDLTrueTypeFont header and source file to your project.
