We should try to have a rough project plan figured out before the first meeting.

Which are the major tasks within the project?

Search for relevant research (see #1)
Preliminary literature review, get a feel for the field (see #4)
Discuss the aim and objective with the project (see issue #2)
Write a project proposal (see #5)
Conduct a literature review (see #6)
Write the project report (see #7)
Prepare for the presentation (see #8)
...

If you've got any ideas on what to add to the project plan, or how to structure and track each task, feel free to discuss.

Retrospectively, we should have tried to allocate more time to actively update and maintain the project plan during the course of the project, and discuss which tasks and sub-tasks should be allocate what amount of time and assigned to which milestone and intermediate deadline.
