Mimic the intensity of a pixel using several commits on the same day. The most intense pixel will contain say 256 commits and the least intensive pixel 0 or 1 commit.

Archiving this idea for now, thus closing the issue. It may very well be implemented in the future, but the issue is not needed to track the idea, as its been discussed quite a few times.
