Search input field - Backspace selects characters instead of removing them #270

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. perform some search query, e.g. level==info
2. the drop down will now remember your query
3. select that query from the dropdown
4. place the cursor anywhere in the text and press "Backspace"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Pressing "Backspace" selects preceding characters instead of deleting them.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

OtrosLogViewer Build: 2013-01-24 on Fedora release 18 (Spherical Cow)
