Feature request - Add support for a timeline view #308

It would be great to add a view that displays marked events on a timeline. The 
timeline could look like SIMILE's Timeline widget 
(http://www.simile-widgets.org/timeline/). Probably SIMILE's Timeline widget 
could be used somehow or any other alternative available over internet. By 
clicking on an event on the timeline, the log viewer would show details of that 
event. Timeline view with marked events depicted on it allows see events and 
trends from high level view. And by that facilitate to troubleshooting of 
application. 
If you found that new feature interesting, I can help with implementation.
