Log open process permanently hosed after entering bad network URL #331

Try to tail a log file, but give a wrong sftp URL.
As expected, you get an error message because it can't open the URL.
Exit the open dialogs.
Try to open a log file, giving a correct sftp URL.  It fails regardless of what 
you enter, and the error message indicates that it's still tying the wrong URL 
that you gave earlier.

Only work-around for this situation that I know of is to shut down OLV and 
start it up again.
