Fix Date at the top of the home page #15

Currently, the date is showing September 11, 2001. It does not change as the time passes.

I have written the code to display the correct date. I added a new file, date.js, for this but not sure if this is really needed. (Not sure where to put this simple code.) On Wednesday, when we meet, I will merge it in with everything else and this task will be be closed!

I moved my code over to the display.topbar.js file and it works fine. Waiting to merge to master.

Please pull the last version of master to get my changes up to date.
