We needed to upgrade to new ruby, so I've reworked some (large) parts of this and updated all gems it uses.
Consider for merge (at least cherry-picking interesting changes).
/health endpoint is there so support working inside nomad cluster, since we don't want to forward every health check to rubygems, not sure if you would consider this appropriate for upstreaming.
