Can't get this merged up manually: if anyone has time, please do send help with a patch with all merges applied (please don't rebase, in this case)

Do we have this to be added to the milestone? I've seen that you've added merge-ups to the milestones of other components as well. Is there a reason for that?

I, personally, would only add this to a milestone when I have to release a new version of this. So lets say, we do bugfix something in 1.3.3, then merge up to 1.4.x which already has 1.4.10 so we can immediately release 1.4.11 with the fix of 1.3.3.

But since there is no 3.0 released as of now, adding this to the changelog does not give me more information over the changelog of the latest 2.X release? Its just bloating the CHANGELOG, not?

Yes, helps with tracking back if we already did a merge-up or if bugs are still in the previous branch.

Meh, changelog can be adjusted, if necessary.
