SubSupport DVB Player #74

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- After starting and selecting the desired subtitle for download I get an error
message ( `NoneType` object has no attribute `rfind` ) when in settings "Save
subtitles to" is set to "Next to Video".
- If I change "Save subtitles to" to "User defined" ( whitc is set to "tmp" )
the error dissapears and the plugin works.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- mp2 v0.59beta + subssupport v1.5.2
- PBnigma 4.2 ( kernel 3.1.1 ) on VU+ UNO

If someone could double check this on his receiver ?

Thanks for the report, there should be no option like "next to video"
available, since there is no videofile available when playing DVB broadcast.
Will fix it..

1. Just tried 1.5.2 Update 2, and having the same error, probobly because there
is an option "Save subtitle as" - "Video filename" - this should not be
available when using on SAT channels.
2. I am getting some error for long filenames when trying to download some
subtitles. I've atached a screenshot.

Thanx for the great work!

1. You're right I forgot on save as setting.
To fix it I added "Save as (fallback)" option to Search settings, which will be
selected in case "Save as" is set to "video" and there is no video available.

In attachment is fixed version, please test.

2. I will look into that, but this was happening also for previous versions
right?

Thanks for the feedback.
I updated podnapisi.net from latest git source, so hopefully there are no
issues now.

Please test

2. Tried it with a few movies. Now podnapisi works, but on some movies ( Ice
Soldiers ) i get the same error if I try to downoad the found subtitle from
titlovi.com. I've atached a screenshot.

3. There are missing some serbian flags if the language is defined as "Serbian
(Latin)" - i've detected this on podnapisi.net I've atached a screenshot.

4. Is it possible to add a new line to the search window, which displays the
exact video filename of the requested subtitle. It would make easyer to choose
the right subtitle from the given in search.
example :
the video file name is : The Theory of Everything (2014) x264 720p Bluray DD5.1
DTS eng nlsubs.mkv
in the search box "Title" it says : The Theory of Everything
so I often forget what is the exact name of the videofile, so I choose the
wrong one from the list of available subtitles.

Thanx for the great plugin ... again :D
