You say you have flown r215 with success. Did you fly r215 with BMP and Sonar ?
As far as I know, with current versions you'll have to choose either one; BMP
or Sonar.

Yes I flown r215 all the time. GPS + alt hold works, but it more aggressive
than r162. I have ask lohnieh on Issue #7, he said BMP and Sonar suppose to
work together. So I give a test and get bad result.

I also experienced Alt hold issues either using only baro or only sonar.
The copter just rises and never stops.
We have to investigate into this behaviour.

Today I make some test with R458. First with Sonar + BMP. It look like the
problem still there. The throttle will jumping2 around "unstable". Then I try
to unplug the sonar and now the alt hold work.

Good, please post your modifications. Did you use both sonar and BMP?
Could you share your PID settings?

Yes I use both sonar and BMP. First test with low alt then high alt. Both sonar
and BMP works now. For sonar I lower the P to 0.5 I&D still default. Next I'll
try to tune the I&D. For GPS P:0.010 I:0.001 D:0.090 Position P:0.08 I:0.06
D:0.06
The day before I soak my sonar into water haha
