Merged master into FMA, final polish on-going.

OK, did the merge and some final fixes. If you could please take a look, I think we're 99% ready to merge... I've ran the FMA test many times and with multiple compilers, all pass, but since nothing ELSE has changed with the other tests I won't rerun everything.

Only thing missing is to bump the version number - once this is done (give me 5 min), let's merge (fast forward) this to fma, then merge fma to master!!!

EDIT: missed a word.
