make sure local names are associated to a language and a place. sounds better than keeping a TEXT or large string.
I had a good idea on explaining what "taxon/accession/location" are! taxon: know; accession: have; location: put! I know a plant: it is described as a record in the taxon table. I have a plant: it is a record in the accession table. I put a plant in the garden: a record in location table.

forgot to state: the btuu database is not "what they use at the botanische tuinen", but Eric's interpretation of what we would need for Mompox or just any garden. we are adjusting it as it does not completely match what I understood and if I understood Eric correctly, he simplified the situation so that things would be easier according to him. since I need understand the situation as it is, not in a simplified form, I close this issue.
