Noob questions (sorry) #75

I am new to Teamspeak3, mostly using a friend's server. I tried using Ts3videos on his server, having the plugin installed and joining via the public server. I am able to select video options and open the conference client. However, even when my friend joins via the public server too, I am able to see his name, but there is no action available, nor is there anything to see.

I read through the Ts3videos site and github threads to find how to use this plugin. So, how exactly do I use this plugin with others? conferenceclient

I'm a complete noob to Teamspeak3 though so I'm probably overlooking something.

Hi. One important thing is that you both use the same IP/DNS to connect to the TS3 server. If you're friend host it on is private computer he needs to use his public IP address instead of 127.0.0.1 / localhost.

Actions are only available, if you are logged in as admin.

Hello, thank you for the response. How do I log in as Admin? I tried the generic passwords given in the forums (admin, password, adminpassword).

ts3video I still haven't found out how to log in as admin. Without it I assume there is no way of viewing others on TS3video.

Help is highly appreciated.

You guys can set and then use the admin pw from the config file!

Also you can see others without being logged in as admin
