Ok, for me he used the oldest device I had an Echo dot ... with 8289072516 as FW and it did not worked ... so it seems to be really then devices and their FWs to make the difference
I kind of expected it to fail this morning, but I was able to pair and control a node-matter "light".
I still can't pair "sensor" devices, but I think the message has been updated. It now says "This device can't connect to Alexa. We're working on ways to connect this device to Alexa, but right now it's not compatible"
Ok, why not sensor is clear, please check the Alexa Infos in Readme ... they only have OnOff and Light implemented so far!
Good news, I updated the Alexa Android App, and I can now pass the CSR Request and have the device fully commissioned.
hhuui .... which version? then I check later (again) too ;-) Was it now asking if you want to add a inofficial device?
The App asked to update as soon as I selected the Matter button. Now the app version is:
