7 years ago The goal for this add-on was to make it easier to select messages on touch devices. The intention with the larger font was that it lets you better target specific rows with your finger.
The look of the checkboxes was inspired by the GMail app on Android and iOS where you tap large round icons to select messages. But providing more options for the look of the checkboxes would be a nice feature. It'd be great if you could make a PR to add this.
Thank you for developing this add-on, it is quite useful. I have a couple suggestions that I'd like to put out in case you decide to release an update:
I don't understand why the large font is included in this add-on. I know it can be turned off, but it really seems like it should be its own separate add-on. I also really don't understand why it's enabled by default. Are most of the people who are seeking a checkbox column add-on also looking to make their font super huge? I certainly wasn't!
The checkbox icons look a little big compared to other icons. Seems like they should be a little smaller. Also, I'd like the option to make them look like standard checkboxes, the same ones seen in the Options screens.
