Caveat: seems my VSCode is cleaning up the tailing empty space, hope that is not bothering people too much for the PR review.

Thanks! I don't mind having a reformat commit, but can we separate that out from the addition of Sambanova?

Sounds good! This PR was a bit overwhelming to me, and indeed a good idea to do the refactoring in a separate PR!
