If it is possible to achieve it, that would make more interesting play in my New Nintendo 2DS XL the Boktai saga.

Hopefully this does get considered. I don't really see why it wouldn't be possible, I mean it wouldn't work the same since as an original since the 3DS doesn't detect UV but detecting light is suitable enough (That's what Repro Carts do, they use an optical sensor instead of a UV sensor).
I really hope so too. On top of the gyroscope support on 3DS, it could really help with these hardware-specific titles. And with the Nintendo Switch also having an ambient light sensor (that's what the light red looking bit on the bezel is), it would make really handy. And help solidify the Switch as a great modern platform for GBA games.
I'm asking since in-emulator shifting of the brightness level sadly does not do it for me. I know the MMBN Legacy Collection notices when you take a screenshot, so is the ambient light sensor not something that can be pulled from in software like that?
Thank you for your time, and consideration.
It would be good if we had the feature to Emulate the Solar sensor on the 3DS with the Camera. I've seen this feature in GBA Emulators on Android so in theory it should be possible.
