Option to Boot gb roms as gbc for 3DS version #2335

Hello, Maybe I am missing something but I cannot find the option to boot gb roms as gbc in the menus.

I also cannot select the bios that I have for gbc as it does not show up.

I would love to have the gbc color options for the gb roms. Thank you.

Have you checked the "current emulated system" option? i think mGBA has this option for change between GB/GBC/SGB

There's...no such option. I'm not sure what you're talking about

Well... Try renaming your GB rom for change from .gb extension to .gbc extension.

An example: WarioLand2.gb ----> WarioLand2.gbc PokemonYellow.gb ----> PokemonYellow.gbc PokemonRed.sgb ----> PokemonRed.gbc

Tell me if that option works for you.

i've found that you can force that option manually in the config.ini file, gb.model=CGB

Seems to work for 3ds versions and switch too... until you open the OSD, then the GB palette kicks in so you have to re-open the game again for CGB palettes. A bit weird.

Ofc you have to configure the bios path, or put them in the default sd://mgba folder.
