I think this is likely something you can bring up with retroarch https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch instead of here as I think they choose the software they use and are unrelated to this project, other than by the fact that RetroArch uses mgba, which means they dictate that, not mgba, please confirm and close issue if that is the case.
The standalone version of mGBA for New 3DS runs fine. As a core in Retroarch it runs bad, and slow. Is this because of disabled threaded rendering (rumored) and if so, can it be fixed?
