Any chance for an iOS version? #2953

I was wondering if there's any chance for an iOS version? I'd love something more feature rich than the Delta emulator. Sameboy has an iOS version via an .ipa file that auto built with the mac files. You can then install it on a non-jailbroken device with AltStore.

This is in the same bin as Android support: No one on the team has the time or skills to write a port to a mobile OS. If someone steps up, then maybe. Otherwise, no.

If iOS has RetroArch, you may try mGBA core…?

That's not equivalent to a standalone version, which would generally work better.

I'd really love to give mgba porting a shot, but I honestly have no clue where to start. What I'm actually hoping to try is to make it work in the background and add a frontend-like feature to handle video rendering and input.
