Unimplemented BIOS Call Pokemon Radical Red #3248

I was playing Pokemon Radical Red without a BIOS and randomly got an error saying "This game uses a BIOS call that is not implemented. Please use the official BIOS for best experience." I've got just under 9 hours of play time on the game with no issues until now. I have tried to use the GBA BIOS but wasn't able/don't know how to transfer my save. Save State 1 (my latest save) has this issue but Save State 2 (a lot further behind in progress) works.

Generally, you should use the in-game save option, as that doesn't rely on any compatibility that could be prone to pitfalls.

Can you upload a save state that I could use to trigger the dialog? I'm curious what the game is trying to do.

Yeah I'm definitely going to stick to using the in-game saves after this
