Oakdale 443.425 N0YNT/R DMR system seems down Sept 2021 #8

Found Oakdale DMR system unable to kerchunk up on Sept 8, 2021 during DMR net. No transmit signal observed at Matt's home in Como Park, St. Paul.

Spoke with Oakdale Site owner via phone and he moved us back to top-mounted antenna. Side mounted repeater antenna is testing bad on VHF. Site owner does not have a UHF antenna analyser.

Antenna work is on-going on the HF antenna stack, so likely side-mounted antenna was flipped upside down during that work and re-moutned right side up. Jumper cable and feedline need to be tested to rule out a bad antenna.

Matt may need to order:

Wait for site owner to get back to Matt on equipment replacement needs.

New antenna ordered and picked up by Oakdale site owner. Closing this issue as complete. May need re-open if site owner needs tower / antenna installation help. Generally site owner is self-sufficient.
