Here is a breakdown of the tasks:

[x] Create two new directories in root - one for python package and one for Java package
[x] Move all non-github related files to the python package
[x] Create new Java package with Gradle from the beginning
[x] Set up the file structure correctly, and create build.gradle and potentially test.gradle or coverage.gradle files also
