New terms added: spina bifida cystica MP:0012547 myelocele MP:0012548
I added myelocele but wondering how the spinal cord could extrude without the meninges…

Please add:
spina bifida cystica as child of "spina bifida [MP:0003054]" DEF: spinal bifida in which a hernial cyst containing meninges (meningocele), spinal cord (myelocele), or both (myelomeningocele) protrudes through a congenital cleft in the vertebral column; the protruding sac is encased in a layer of skin or a fine membrane that readily ruptures, causing leakage of cerebrospinal fluid and an increased risk of meningeal infection SYN: spina bifida aperta SYN: spina bifida manifesta
Make "spina bifida cystica" a parent term of "meningocele [MP:0012259]" and "meningomyelocele [MP:0009929]"
Then add:
myelocele as a new child of "spina bifida cystica" DEF: hernial protrusion of the spinal cord through an opening or defect in the vertebral column SYN: myelocoele
Thanks
