10 years ago Dear Cynthia, I have been thinking of adding this term, or perhaps tomaculous neuropathy, to the HPO. One minor issue is that the singular form is tomaculum (neutral second declension noun, if memory serves), which would probably be the better form to use in the MP, unless the definition states that on eis referring to multiple such phenomena (this would be the intent of "tomaculous neuropathy", but I think it might be better just to stick with tomaculum actually). -Peter

consider adding the term tomacula def sausage shaped areas of thickened myelin child of abnormal myelin sheath morphology appears in J:199632 and several existing annotations
possibly also add myelin outfoldings see HPO:0004336 appears in J:199632
