Consider adding "giant platelets" as a child term of "increased mean platelet volume MP:0002599".

DEF: presence of abnormally enlarged platelets that are as large as or larger than the red blood cells in the microscopic field; giant platelets may be seen in myeloproliferative and myelodysplastic conditions, autoimmune thrombocytopenia, in association with severe leukemoid reactions, and in rare inherited conditions such as Bernard-Soulier syndrome
