Add new term: aspiration pneumonia (a child of lung inflammation MP:0001861) DEF: pneumonia occurring after abnormal entry of material from the oral cavity or upper gastrointestinal tract into the lungs through the larynx; aspirated material can include saliva, nasopharyngeal secretions, bacteria, liquids, toxic substances, food, or gastric contents; can result in pulmonary complications by way of chemical pneumonitis, bacterial infection, or mechanical obstruction SOURCE: PMID:28879323, HP:0011951 Annotation in J:72875
